Bethlehem project
The Misericordie resume their mission of solidarity in Bethlehem
After the interruption due to the pandemic, the Misericordie resume their work in Bethlehem with enthusiasm and determination, both in the social and in the healthcare fields, to support the Palestinian population. The Misericordie officially inaugurated their headquarters in the Holy Land on 21 November 2013. These headquarters have become a key reference point for the local community and offer specialised healthcare assistance thanks to the support of many volunteers, including highly qualified doctors. Today, with renewed momentum, the Misericordie have become operational again, providing services in support of others in the holy places of Christianity.
Performing acts of mercy where Jesus lived and preached gives an even deeper meaning to every act of solidarity, particularly in moments of pain and difficulty. With this new beginning, the Confederation reaffirms its commitment to the service of those in need and continues its mission of help and hope with faith and dedication.
Volunteers who wish to play a leading role in this important project can express their availability for the next months to travel to Bethlehem by filling in the form available at this link.
