Following the near-complete implementation of the Third Sector Code, the Movement of the Misericordie had to undergo significant and necessary changes to manage its associations, with new requirements aimed at increasing transparency, strengthening democratic processes, and enhancing new forms of regulatory compliance. The key aspects of the Third Sector Reform are transparency and financial reporting, which affect both large and small Misericordie organisations. In fact, they introduce new obligations that associations must comply with. The Consulting Area of the National Confederation of the Misericordie supports the transition towards full implementation of the new Third Sector Code, through training programmes and direct consultancy.
