The “Street Units” are groups made of volunteers who help poor people meeting them directly in the places where they seek shelter for the night. They offer them protection, listen to them, and attempt to set up a recovery programme, in accordance with the institutions and the service network. Each Misericordia can organise its own “Street Unit”, particularly necessary with the onset of cold weather.

In the annexes, the Misericordie will find the Communication from the Councillor delegated for institutional relations, the guidelines to establish the Street Units, and the forms required for the delivery of street services.
